In the Jurassic Period of prehistory, Britain was a coral reef. This section of Anne's Amazing Coral Reef is intended to celebrate this.
At the heart of the design will be the largest carnivore ever to dwell on planet Earth, Liopleurodon; a giant predator some 25m (75ft) long, that stalked the ancient seas. This will be a walk-through inflatable. Inside, visitors will be able to see examples of the diverse range of life from Jurassic times that the 150tonne Liopleurodon has 'eaten', including reef-dwellers, ocean-dwellers and a few dinosaurs!
This area of the reef will be one of the two strictly finite areas of the overall Reef design.
