The Moray Eels

Moray eels are slender, snake-like fish. They do not have any scales, nor do they have pelvic or pectoral fins. They constantly open and close their large mouths to move water over their gills so they can breathe. They are not aggressive towards divers, but do have sharp fang-like teeth that can inflict a nasty bite if provoked. Most are secretive in the day, hiding in recesses in the reef, but can occasionally be seen with their heads protruding from their shelters. At night, the eels hunt small fish and octopus, finding their prey by smell.

The moray eels on Anne's Amazing Coral Reef prefer to eat money. They quite like paper, but find they can't eat too much, they prefer coins, and they absolutely love to gobble down lots of copper!
